About Discount Assistant
The primary motivation for the app was the ability to detect when a customer sees a product multiple times (which indicates interest) and to be able to offer a discount for that product, maybe in combination with another product shanp(buy one get one at x % off), a set of products or on its own.
Another goal was to get out of customer's way as much as possible without losing interest and attention. There is nothing worse than opening a website on your mobile and having to deal with an ugly popup that says something in different fonts and is hard to close. It was decided to hide all functionality in a side panel and only show a small multi-colour button which serves as panel toggle.
Available conditions and events
Discount Assistant is able to detect the following events:
Customer sees product
Customer sees collection
Customer sees a product in collection
Customer sees multiple products in collection
These can be combined with cart based conditions such as:
Customer has product in cart
Customer has product from a list of products in cart
Customer has product from collection in cart
And discount can be given on products or whole cart.
Note that the app is not localised and only English language is supported.
