How does it work? We watch for new orders on your shop and if an order contains a product which you've setup to receive a tax receipt then we take care of it. Your customers will receive a second email (in addition to their order receipt from Shopify) containing a PDF tax receipt for their donation.
Donations are saved and can be exported to CSV for import into other systems. You can also manually re-send or void a receipt. The app handles automatically voiding refunded orders and will send an updated receipt to the customer in case of a fixed typo in their personal information.
The emails and the pdf are fully editable using Liquid and HTML the same easy to use markup language used by Shopify for themes and emails. You can include images using an img tag provided the image is already uploaded to your Shopify store or elsewhere on the internet.
