How to get started
To get started you will need to have or create an account for Zendesk Support that is linked to an account for Zendesk Chat .
Once you have set up those accounts you will be given a Zendesk account subdomain that you will be asked to enter during the setup of this integration. Once entered, you can then easily enable the display of the widget via the integration's setup page; no additional code is required to be pasted into your Shopify site.
To explore the end user experience after linking your Shopify and Zendesk Chat accounts, just log into your Zendesk Chat account, ensure an agent is available and then visit your Shopify site to start a chat.
Note: The app is free for Zendesk customers who are on the Team Plan or above.
